my friends and i were discussing that atheists mostly always state that god is not real, instead of saying they don’t believe in god. we all have our own opinions since not everyone has the same belief. in my opinion, i would choose catholicism because that’s my religion, but anyone else could have a different opinion and i don’t think anyone should try to regard your belief because they have their own views.

A creator may exist but religion is a hoax bc humans wrote it, if God wrote it it would have been a perfect correct Bible but….. The scientific data in the Bible was wrong because back then the men didn’t know the correct science so when they wrote the Bible they put false science..

I personally think that religion is an opinion more than a fact. There is no “best” religion since everyone’s opinion is different. I personally don’t study a religion, so I can’t say anything good or bad about any religion. I just think that everyone needs to stop trying to force their beliefs down everyone’s throat acting like religion is the plate of vegetables that nobody wants to eat. There’s no point in it and I just think that every religion is equal in its own way, and just because someone is Christian and someone is Muslim doesn’t mean that one is better than the other.

Yes, everyone of them serve different perspective, until religion people stop involving their text in science and science people stop trying to prove religion is not real, then they will reside peacefully

There are many religions but logically the truth can only be one. You can’t have multiple truths be real all at once. So the idea that God aproves all religions is absurd. For example some religions teach that there is life after death in heaven or hell, or some others teach that there is reincarnation. Obviously both can’t possibly be true. So you’re gonna have to look at what the Bible says. In (Revelations 21:4) teaches us that there will be resurrection and no more pain or death. So which religion is the best religion? I say the best religion is the one that abstains from false and pagan traditions like Christmas and Easter which have no biblical standpoint and follow what the Bible strictly mentions.

Actually, they can all be wrong. We don’t know yet. It’s possible that when we die, we just die and cease to exist. There might be no such thing as souls and we are just atoms arranged in a way that with an electrical current has a result in what we refer to as life.

You contradict yourself by saying “they all can be wrong” and then proceed to give an explination to death. Which is just another explination. Death logically cannot be part of nature we as humans were not created that way and even if you’re an atheist you can’t deny the fact that mankind has never stopped finding a cure for death. We’re always comming up with new surgeries to look younger, reconstruct cells etc. Thus it’s not natural for us to die. Especially when it comes to the fact that losing someone is in fact the worse pain a human can possibly feel. Emotions. Emotions cannot be formed by atoms or chemical reactions there’s just absolutely no way for the complexity of humans and nature alone to be a coincidence let alone the emotions we feel. To say that we are nothing but atoms is absurd once again.

So many things you said were wrong. 1- Death is a natural occurrence, because every living creature eventually goes through it. No creature is immortal. 2- Mankind has never found a cure for death. We can prolong our life span, but we can not avoid eventual death. 3- No surgery in the world can make a human immortal. 4- Losing a loved one to death is not the most painful emotion. I have lost family members but have had more saddening emotions not related to death. It’s subjective. Not everyone has the same emotional range as you. 5- Emotions are a reaction in your brain caused by either chemicals that your brain releases and/or synapses between brain cells. Animals can feel emotions even though religions claim only humans have souls. 6- What is absurd is believing in a flying spaghetti monster that rules our universe even though you have absolutely zero proof of one.

That’s a very close minded argument you have there. Simply if you’re a religious person you believe that man was originally created to live forever until sin came into the picture which is what causes us to death, which is the reason why we never want to die. If death was a natural occurrence then we would face it like it’s a natural and always be prepared for it. You’re right no one has been able to defy death I never said we did, the argument is that we’re constantly trying to slow it down or delay it with surgeries etc. Which proves my point that death is not natural. Keep in mind that because something is common does not mean that it is natural, two very different things. And secondly, you can say that every animal feels emotions and whatnot but you cannot deny the fact that humans are far more special than any animal existing, our emotions are far more complex than any other living creature.
But since you are an atheist I assume, I’m gonna go ahead and apply myself to your sensitivity.

There is no such thing as a Flying Spaghetti Monster there is only God. Who is in fact alive and the creator of all things existing. To deny His existence is to deny that an architect designed a building and say the building created itself. It’s completley absurd to believe in anything but creation you can’t explain it it’s impossible. Even if you can provide proof of a Big Bang explosion no one can explain where the explosion came from. To say than everything was created from nothing is absurd. Do you know what nothing means? Nothing is the absence of something and to say that everything was created from nothing is far worse than believing in a Flying Spaghetti Monster. It’s illogical, uneducated, ingnorant and arrogant argument

But you wanna get scientifically so let’s go there. The Bible has been and I think it still is far more advanced than science. We’re talking about a book written 2 thousand years ago. Allow me to provide you with examples.

The Bible taught us that the earth is held upon nothing while scientists were teaching that the earth was held by a giant turtle held by massive elephants.
Job 26:7

While science was teaching that the earth was flat and executed people who believed otherwise. The Bible written far before that taught us that the earth is in fact round
Isaiah 40:22

The idea of diseases being contagious was not discovered until far after the Bible taught us that we should stay away from sick people far far before science was ever able to explain it
Leviticus chapter 13,14

I’ve provided three examples but you have dozens of events and laws placed to protect us from things we did not know. Tell me something, how can you possibly explain this? Which philisopher or scientist was so intellectually advanced 2,000 years ago to know all these things? Let me answer that for you there was no one, no human. The only logical explination is that there was a God who inspired men through visions and prophets to write all these things that were much ahead of their time and still is.
So there’s your proof. No you don’t need visuals or the ability to see or hear God because there’s more than enough proof in creation and the Bible.
