Were the Rolling Stone crew drunk when they put this list together?

Rolling Stone has rank ordered the entire cast of Saturday Night Live (141 members in 40 years). They claim it’s based solely on their SNL years, and not anything they have done since. I think it falls apart around #70 and just gets worse as you get closer to number one.

This is a tough nut to crack, with so many brilliant people in the cast. In general it overall makes sense with of course some I don’t agree with.

Their ranking of Norm McDonald alone renders the whole thing untrustworthy.

I think it’s plain as day their ranking of Victoria Jackson has a leetle bit to do with what she’s said and done decades after leaving the show. On the show, she wasn’t great but she wasn’t that awful, either.
