Up is relatively based upon your point of view. If you were to be looking forward then up would be above your view. Or, if you were to be in the South then North would be defined as up. Now, if you were to be in the North but facing towards the South then going down there would be going up because it’s going upwards from your point of view.

You’re right. There’s no real argument. Up is defined relatively based on the subject.
I agree that up is subjective. That is simply my personal opinion to describe up on a macroscopic level.
