Um… your joking right? What kind drugs are you smoking? There is over 600,000 COVID related deaths. People are dying everyday because of this virus. I’ve seen so many people like you that have said things like this and they ended up passing away from it because they didn’t take it seriously. All you have to do it’s search COVID-19 death rate and boom, you’ll be able to see that it is in fact not a ploy and is actually a deadly virus. We are in the middle of a pandemic.
BLM is not a ploy hunny. It is a protest against incidents of police brutality and all racially motivated violence against black people. Black men are 2.5 times more likely to be a victim of police brutality than that of a white man. In many cases black men and women have gotten harsher sentences than a white man or woman has for the same crime. Literally just look it up and hundreds of articles, statistics, and pieces of evidence with show up.

People dying of underlying issues or something completely unrelated to covid are being counted as dying from covid, the death rates are botched and the numbers of them are different depending on what media outlet you watch, 99% of people that get it live. If you have to put a color infront of lives matter you’re racist.

@barbiebreath let me explain why you are wrong. Your wrong about police brutality because black people make up 13% of the population but commit 50% of homicides. Black men are 6x greater to commit a major crime then any other race. Cops are not racially motivated. Some cops want power and they take it out on random people and if it happens to be be of color or not they couldn’t care less. But many people want to believe that it is racially motivated. And do not say that the black people killed by cops are all innocent. Some are but not all. For example Jacob Blake had allegedly raped a 13 year old girl and was reaching for a knife before being shot. Last time I checked rape isn’t innocent.
Eh? Lando Castille, my friend. While I agree black, impoverished communities are more prone to crime, I also think it’s pretty over-simplistic to think our society doesn’t set them up for that. On top of basically begging the most neglected and desperate parts of American society to commit more crime, we as a culture are also much more hyper-aware of blacks as criminals. We expect the worse and create a self fulfilling prophecy that makes us more likely to suspect blacks because of the cultural symbol they are. No, the onus is not entirely on police for targeting blacks, but the idea they dont in certain communities is ridiculous.
Let me put a hole in your logic. A cop is 18x more likely to be shot by a black person than a black person being shot by a cop. The media glorifies black deaths and shootings and neglects other race deaths and shootings. For example there was a white person who was shot and killed and barely received local attention. George Floyd as we all know is history. Is one worse than the other, no. But many glorify it and neglect other race shootings. I’m sorry but facts don’t care about your feelings keyboard warrior.

Also, I’m not accusing, just asking so I know what I’m dealing with. Are you aware that the 13:50 meme is a nazi propaganda? Or that the 18x more likely to be shot thing applies to white people also and to even more of an extreme? I’m not even sure how that pokes a hole in my logic, maybe you can explain, but yeah, obviously people in the line of fire are most likely to be shot. Yes. That’s their job.
Finally, you’re never going to get me to say there is no corruption within or behind BLM. Yes, they grossly commodify the problem and try to sell it. Yes, there is much more money in reporting George Floyd over Whitey Whiteperson. Now I think maybe with God’s calculator we could probably prove mathematically that killing any US black person is morally worse than any other US demographic, but thats floaty nonsense. My pushback on that issue would be that while the profit motive thing is gross, these stories do also highlight actual issues in an uncomfortable ends justify the means sort of way.

You’re correct that it is overhyped. I personally would rather contract it and be done with it, but you seem to miss where you’re wrong because of slight (maybe major) indoctrination. First off, that narrative serves the news media, not Fauci or the left necessarily. Bringing BLM into it is also pretty stupid. If you want to talk COVID talk COVID. Second, COVID is an actual threat to some populations and really there’s a moral choice. Never visit grandma again, or wear a mask and leave the house as little as possible for two months as a nation. I’m of the opinion that susceptible people should just self quarantine, but also the argument that our economy cant handle shutdowns is silly. It’s not optimal, but it’s not THAT big a deal.

my friend died (rest in peace you were taken to early i miss you) but i had it twice my girlfriend had it twice my boy rich had it 7 times i dont know why we didn’t die and he did so it’s a threat definitely but i don’t understand how it kills people because i wasn’t even that sick it’s confusing but like i’d be kore than happy to stay in my house and get free money and just hang with my girlfriend all day wish i was off probation tho so i could smoke some weed

So are you implying that middle-aged people and children don’t die from Covid-19? In that case, I can provide a multitude of statistics that basically prove your entire argument as incorrect. Also, just because an infected person doesn’t die from covid-19, doesn’t mean they aren’t affected by it. The problem with this virus is the side effects and long-term results which we aren’t so sure of. A kid may be affected and then months later they come back with lung damage and other medical issues. So are you then saying that these people are non-existent?
