That fact that there is violence in video games does not matter. The only thing that matters is whether or not the violence the players experience is manifested through their actions when they are not playing video games. And so far, there has been no evidence that violent video games translates to violent behavior.

As far as the actual question, I initially want to say yes? Like I think most of my generation has faced this argument with their parents, but to me the answer seems to be that even if exposed to violent media our actions are still decided individually and most people will decide against violence. I would suspect that anybody radicalized through video games was already a target for any sort of radicalization because of real world problems. Its interesting when you think about content centered rabbit holes, but I think that the profit motive behind video games keeps their content within the Overton window to a degree and don’t have the same effect of pulling people in the same ideological directions.
