Should America invest massive funds into green energy even though most of the worlds pollu

Not too much money, honestly. It’s like this… if you have a 3,000 square foot house but only 100 square feet are updated but the rest is filthy… the house is still ugly and unlivable. Until a firm commitment from massive polluters like the nations of Central America, China, India, SE Asia, etc can get on board, it’s a waste of money. I would mainly put funds into research for when the world is ready. A complete overhaul of America’s energy system would redirect funds away from important and pressing matters… education, infrastructure, military, etc. It could literally bankrupt us if we got carried away. All of that for reducing only a couple percentages of the worlds pollution. So, yes within reason until the world is ready to work together on it.

Wouldn’t make a difference, windmills for example, most are powered by diesel engines when there isn’t enough wind to push them. They’re made out of steel, mined from the earth, which is a limited supply same as fossil fuel, same for solar panels, made from limited materials. Truth is we’re screwed either way, and that’s the way it was always going to be. The earth goes through natural changes, cant stop the ice age from happening again
