Is it wrong to eat veal?

It can’t be wrong and so tasty at once.

Whether you think eating meat is morally wrong is a personal decision. I know people who think “meat is murder” and I respect their choice. I do think there are more humane ways of raising animals and slaughtering them. Maybe if I saw veal being produced, I might change my mind, but I do eat it (and foie gras). I’m conscious that we kill animals and I at least try to be aware that I enjoy consuming the flesh of a living being.

This is actually why I continue to hunt. I prefer to know that the meat I am consuming was walking around free and going about it’s business right until the final bell – as opposed to being raised in cramped factory conditions, jammed shoulder to shoulder with another animal, given little room to do anything. Hunters get a bad rap, but the animal they eat was in a much better state than the meat at the store.

Nearly everything we do (at the top of the food chain) can offend someone. I do not have a moral objection to eating the young of an animal.
