Feminism, is it a hate movement?

I believe Feminism for equal rights is great, such as, equal pay for jobs. But when I hear that “Women are better then men” and “It has been scientifically proven women are much smarter etc.”, I see Feminism as a sexist hate movement. Also, what scientific research is there proving that women are smarter than men? When some women blame men for “mass shootings” or “It’s sexist when it’s men”, It just doesn’t make any sense. Let’s not forget about on January 29, 1979, 16-year-old Brenda Spencer killed two people and wounded nine when she fired on San Diego’s Grover Cleveland Elementary School with a .22-caliber rifle from her family’s house across the street. In my eyes, whether your a man, woman, or where ever you are from. In the end, we are all human beings with different beliefs and cultures all around the world. Now, Anita Sarkeesian, in my eyes, she is a sexist.

Well, no. Just like how the New Black Panther Party doesn’t represent everyone involved with Black Power or Black Lives Matter, Feminist Frequency doesn’t represent all feminists. Sure, there’s gonna be shitheads who are on your side and make it look bad. That’s true for every ideology, and just like the original Black Panthers, founded out of a love of black people and not a hatred of white people, feminism represents a love of women and not a hatred of men. Basically, feminism is, at it’s simplest core, thinking that women deserve the same rights that men do.

You are wrong. The feminist views are spread. This causes dumb people to believe them and join in. this does represent the majority. hence the name “fem”inism. Also, what the fuck does this have to do with the black panthers. this has to do with feminism, don’t change the topic since you don’t have a valid counter argument.

Love of women. Not once have i witnessed a protest where they said they love women. Every protest have seen, or been to, they have set the focus as men being bad, some politician, or some made up social structure.

@ConservativeWhiteMale, sorry, but the modern feminist movement is just as angry and violent as the Black Panthers were. They are essentially the same thing. Self absorbed angry groups.

yes it is a hate movement!!These so called feminists bitches about everything even stuff that doesnt concern them.I am a woman and i believe in equality,but some of the things they fight about is childish.I am from Newfoundland,Canada and in the city of St.Johns the city wanted to prevent people from littering and they made up this sign.This sign was a picture of a female dressed in a garbage bag and the sign said Dont be trashy or keep ypour trash in a bag something to that effect.Anyway the feminsts jumped right on it.Trashy is a degrading word for women one said ,and it demeans women.It was a sign ladies and if the shoe fits wear it.Yes these are the men haters these so called feminest and most of them are nasty.

I think that the original idea of feminism is a good idea. However, I think that most, not all, feminists today have gone too far.

The guys complaining about some feminists going too far here argue almost in the same fashion as the very feminists they’re against.

If it bugs you when you read an article proclaiming women are smarter than men, should that bother you? How will that affect your daily life? Will you make any significant changes or decisions based on that assertion? Would you even believe that making such claims would hurt the future generations? I don’t think so, right?

So why b*tch and complain? I think the problem are men like yourself and your female counterparts. It’s really that simple. And I hate to go below the belt here, but I think you’ve been hurt and like many men (as many women do) are simply lashing out. Why do I say this? Because you have not provided any meaningful and beneficial suggestions to the problem.

What bugs me is not an article posted. It is that so many children will be tricked by the false information. We have a duty to raise our children. Part of that role means protecting them from false information. And I am not required to provide a solution in order to not be a part of the problem. That was a very stupid statement you made.

According to what you believe you seem to be a feminist. People who are not for the equality of man and women but want to be above one sex would be faschist/sexist not feminist. (Or just mentally ill maybe.) Feminism is by no means meant to be a hate movement, just as communism is actually a pretty nice theory that gets exploited by a lot of dictators in human history and even now.
I don’t know why there are so many people bending the terms. It’s not cool at all.

I wouldn’t consider true feminism to be hateful against men as it’s main ideologies functions around the principle of gender equality and that both men and women deserve equal treatment. However, just like communism, feminism is a practice which has been proven to only be theoretically sound. The problem with feminism is that it’s most mainstream exposure is of women hating main and using their deluded political dogma to persecute men (these women stereotypically tend to be the special snowflakes who are bitter for never having sex or some other reason).

Overall, feminism is a good idea, it’s just been manipulated by angry women to spread hate and fuel greed. When feminists complain about things such as the wage gap they have no clue what they’re talking about and they honestly are an insult to women and men everywhere

In the first sentence you said, I had to reply. It doesn’t matter what you think they are. It matters that so many of them spew hatred toward men. That needs to stop. The entire feminist movement has been taken over. It’s now run by crybabies that want handouts. It doesn’t matter what it used to be, it matters what it is now.

The feminism movement, just like the black lives matter movement, is a hate group. They try to bypass the laws and moral grounds set with a ‘strength in numbers’ fallacy and find the dumbest topics to argue about. Most ‘feminism’ groups are also with the lgbt community and the whole transgender area usually takes things to a violent level as well.

When it first started out, it was not a hate movement. However nowadays it’s nadir than what it was many decades ago. In some parts of the world, women do not have rights (the middle east is a big example). Countries like America are where women are treated equally and have full rights. Feminism in america is not needed anymore
