RE: how many genders are there

Gender by the definition seems to mean not the literal definition of gender, but instead the social roles and expectations that follow with it. I don’t understand a lot of the transgender stuff as I am not, but I do understand not fitting in which certain expectations that are put upon you. Still the definition at most has a grasp on 5 genders, one of which encompassing all the seemingly endless others. While gender seems to be such a flex word, so does the use of the word. The problem and why people I think need a gender to identify with is because gender roles do not apply to most people, or at least all people. Male and Female just don’t work for them. But, I think inherently the problem with this is that Masculine and Feminine, well, exists. With that gender roles, like a Working Father and House Mom.
