RE: Creationism VS. Evolution

Arguing six day creation (Genesis 1:1 – 2:3) with an atheist is indeed futile, but then again, so is arguing six day creation with anyone who believes in Adam and Eve, the Garden of Eden and a talking snake (Genesis 2:4 – 3:24).  Those are two very different accounts of creation, written by different sects of Judaism, probably centuries apart, slapped together by scribes who didn’t even try to reconcile them. So You can either believe God created man first, then created all the animals, and finally made a woman out of a man’s rib (Gen. 2:7-24) or you can believe God created all the lower animals first before finally creating man and woman at once on the sixth day (Gen. 1:26-31).  You cannot simultaneously believe both.
