RE: Can there be a black James Bond?

Of course there can be. There original James Bond, from the novels Ian Fleming published between¬†1953 ¬†to 1966, had a specific context and background. Making Bond black wouldn’t have made sense. But it’s 2015. Bond’s original context has long vanished. He has to be reinvented for new generations, so why not invent him in a way that includes changing his race?

It was extremely humorous to see some commentators getting upset, as if Bond was real, instead of a fictional character.
