However, it’s quite unlikely that Idris Elba will become that black James Bond. The next James Bond movie comes out later this year, with Daniel Craig as Bond. It would be at least three years before the next one comes out and Elba would be 45 years old. They would want the next Bond actor to last for some time (Connery did nine years, Moore 12, Brosnan seven, Craig nine). I suspect the producers would prefer someone a little younger.
